Vieques Island lies seven miles east of Puerto Rico and can be easily reached by ferry ($2.50) or small plane ( $22). The population is apprx. 10,000 and is centered in the middle of the island. Each apartment has a kitchen, some have 2 bedrooms with a private terrace, some one bedroom and one is a studio. Very reasonably priced, these apartments are a lovely way to have a modestly priced vacation.
